Fake names: Bob, Sally, Tom, Jane
In a world where everyone’s staring down at their phones, it’s no wonder we’re all starting to feel a little sick. Luckily, a growing number of start-ups have heard our prayers and are making wearables and apps to help alleviate the symptoms.
Bob, the CEO of “SickSaver”, explains, “We saw a hole in the market for people who are tired of looking at their screens all day and want to get sick. That’s why we came up with our patented “nausea-inducing” VR headset.” Now that’s innovation!
Not to be outdone, Sally from “I’m Dizzy” boasts about her company’s latest app update. “We’ve added an AR function that makes your surroundings spin even if you’re standing still. We’re confident it’ll become the go-to app for anyone wanting to fake a sick day.”
Tom, the creator of the “Headache Hat”, says his product has been a game-changer for those suffering from migraines. “It’s like a hat and an ice pack had a baby. You just slip it over your head and voila, instant relief! Plus, it makes you look like one of those hipsters wearing a beanie in summer.”
Jane, the mastermind behind “The Cougher”, says she’s seen huge success with her product. “We designed a small device that makes a coughing sound whenever you need it. It’s perfect for those awkward office silences, or when you want to make a dramatic exit from a boring meeting.”
With all these amazing products on the market, we’re excited to see what other ways the tech industry can help us avoid responsibility and fake sick days. Way to go, start-ups!
