Big Brain Inc. is developing a revolutionary new social app called “Decentrameme,” which is aimed at separating creators and public figures from the rest of the riff-raff on social media. The app allows them to share their inane thoughts and musings in a separate space, keeping them safe from those annoying peasants.
“We’re tired of seeing all these boring posts from regular people cluttering up our timelines,” said the CEO of Big Brain Inc., Mr. Smartypants. “We think it’s time for influencers and celebrities to have their own space where they can shine.”
The app is set to launch later this year, but early beta testers have already given it rave reviews.
“I love being able to share my daily routine with my fans without having to wade through all the garbage,” said one influencer, who goes by the name of Queen of the Selfies. “It’s like having my own private VIP section on social media.”
However, critics are quick to point out that this “separate but equal” approach to social media could lead to further divisions and elitism.
“It’s ridiculous that people would even want to use an app like this,” said social media expert, Dr. Smarty McSmartyPants. “But then again, people are always looking for ways to separate themselves from the masses.”
Only time will tell whether Decentrameme will be a hit or a major flop, but one thing is for sure – the creators and public figures of the world will finally have a safe space where they can share their mundane thoughts and ideas with each other without being bothered by the likes of us common folk.
