Smolkswagen announces major investment in electrification and digitalization

In a shocking turn of events, Auto manufacturer “Smolkswagen” has announced that they will be investing more than two thirds of their planned five-year investment into “electrification and digitalization.”

Sources say that this sudden change in direction came after a particularly heated brainstorming session between CEO “John Smith” and his team of executives. Apparently, a particularly enthusiastic intern had meant to suggest “Modernization and Innovation” but misread the agenda and said “Electrification and Digitalization” instead.

Although many industry experts are scratching their heads at this move, Smolkswagen seems confident that this investment will revolutionize the way people drive. A spokesperson for the company had this to say: “We’re excited to be leading the charge in the world of electric cars. And the digitalization aspect is especially important – now your car will be able to text you when it’s low on fuel, and suggest podcast recommendations based on your driving habits!”

As for Smolkswagen’s competitors, they seem to be taking the news in stride. “I don’t know what they’re smoking over there, but we’ll stick to making cars that people actually want to buy,” remarked “Sarah Johnson”, CEO of rival automaker “Land Rover.”

Only time will tell whether Smolkswagen’s new strategy will pay off. But for now, we can all sit back and marvel at the wonders of electrification and digitalization. Who knows, maybe one day we’ll all be driving cars that can update our Instagram stories for us.
