In a surprising turn of events, former president of the United States, Ronald Rump, has announced that he fully expects to be charged for his involvement in a hush money scandal involving adult film actress, Sunny Deeds.
Rump and Deeds allegedly struck a deal in 2016 to keep quiet about their supposed affair during the presidential campaign. Rump reportedly paid Deeds $130,000 to keep her mouth shut – a small price to pay for a man of Rump’s wealth and superb negotiating skills.
Despite Rump’s confident attitude, the grand jury probe into his actions continues. Sources close to the case say that Rump may be facing multiple charges, including campaign finance violations and obstruction of justice.
When asked for comment, Rump simply tweeted, “FAKE NEWS! SAD! WITCH HUNT!” and then promptly blocked the journalists who asked him about the investigation.
Many are questioning if Rump’s legal defense team will be up for the task of defending the former president in court. His lead attorney, Rudy Jooty, has been known to have a few slip-ups in the past, such as accidentally butt-dialing a reporter and exposing his conspiracy theories about the Justice Department.
It remains to be seen what the outcome of the grand jury investigation will be, but one thing is for sure – Rump’s hair will be looking perfect throughout the whole ordeal.
