In a bizarre twist of events, the South Today weather presenter, Bob Smith, was left blushing and flustered after receiving a whopping 150 explicit messages and videos. Yes, you read that right. One-hundred-and-fifty! Talk about a storm front of a different kind!
It seems that some over-eager fans got a little too hot under the collar whilst watching Bob report on the latest forecast. In a bid to get his attention, they sent him a barrage of X-rated messages and videos – some of which were downright hilarious!
One message read: “Hey Bob, why don’t you come over here and make my barometer rise?” whilst another included a video of a woman attempting to seductively rub suntan lotion on herself (we’re assuming this was meant to be Bob! Yikes!).
In a statement, Bob assured us that he was taking the whole ordeal in good humor. “I’m flattered that people appreciate my work, but there are more appropriate ways to express it,” he said. “I can’t say I wasn’t entertained by some of the videos though!”
Meanwhile, the South Today team is said to be stepping up security measures to ensure that Bob isn’t bombarded with any more naughty messages. We can’t say we blame them. Here’s hoping that the sunshine stays strictly in the forecast from now on!
