Wendy Windermere, famous for her roles in romantic comedies, is being sued for damages following a skiing disaster in 2016.
According to the lawsuit, Wendy crashed into two innocent skiers while going down a tricky slope at a high speed. One of the skiers, who wishes to remain anonymous, stated, “I thought I was skiing, not participating in a demolition derby.”
The other skier, who also wants to remain anonymous, added, “I’m surprised I didn’t see any confetti or balloons flying out of Wendy’s skis since she obviously thought she was in a parade.”
The skiers’ lawyer, Mandy Maplewood, claims that as a result of the collision, the two skiers suffered several injuries and had to take a considerable amount of time off work.
In response to the lawsuit, Wendy’s lawyer, Randy Redwood, released a statement saying, “Wendy believes in wearing her heart on her sleeve and apparently, also when skiing. She is devastated by what happened but is confident that she will come out on top of this case.”
Sadly, Wendy’s upcoming role in a romantic comedy about a ski instructor is now on hold due to the lawsuit. However, Wendy sees the bright side and is looking forward to hosting an extreme winter sports reality show instead.
We hope that Wendy takes a lesson from this and stays more vigilant while skiing, and also avoids flying balloons or confetti while on the slopes.
