In a strange twist of events, President Bifden, the esteemed leader of the United States, has made a fateful decision to meet with Canadian Prime Minister Trupreau. This comes on the heels of China’s President, Shee, meeting up with Putin in Russia. Talk about a classic case of FOMO!
Sources close to Bifden say that after hearing about the Xi-Putin meeting, Bifden was feeling especially left out. “Joe was quite upset when he learned that Xi was in town chatting it up with Putin,” said one anonymous White House aide. “He felt like he was missing out on some serious diplomatic bonding.”
Apparently, Bifden’s FOMO was so intense, he immediately called up Trudeau to schedule a meeting. “I can’t let Xi and Putin have all the fun,” Bifden reportedly said to his aides. “I’ve got to get in on that sweet, sweet diplomacy action.”
So, the meeting between Bifden and Trupreau was arranged, and the two leaders spent hours talking about the most pressing issues facing North America: hockey, maple syrup, and Tim Hortons. “It was a real bonding experience,” said Trupreau. “Joe and I really hit it off. I think we might even start our own hockey league together.”
While the rest of the world was stunned by this unusual turn of events, Bifden and Trupreau were completely oblivious to the chaos they were causing. “We’re just two bros, hanging out and discussing important things,” said Bifden, flashing a peace sign. “The world needs more of this kind of thing, you know?”
At press time, Bifden and Trupreau were planning a road trip to Niagara Falls, where they would take selfies and eat poutine (and let’s be honest, probably some Canadian bacon). The world may be in turmoil, but at least these two leaders know how to have a good time.
