Waco, Texas – The site of a deadly standoff in 1993 between the US government and an “Army of God” – has been transformed into a theme park for extremist groups. The park, called “Wacky Waco,” features rides such as “Raid on the Compound” and “Shootout at the OK Corral.”
“We wanted to provide a fun, family-friendly experience for extremist groups,” said the park’s owner, Joe Schmo. “We’ve got something for everyone, whether you’re into guns, conspiracy theories, or just good old-fashioned patriotism.”
The highlight of the park is the “David Koresh Experience,” a reenactment of the infamous siege in which nearly 80 people died. Visitors can don a pair of aviator glasses and a mullet wig and play the role of Koresh himself, leading a group of followers in a fiery showdown with the FBI.
But the park’s critics say it’s in poor taste to profit off of a tragedy like Waco.
“This is appalling,” said activist Jane Doe. “People died here. It’s not a joke. This park is a slap in the face to the victims and their families.”
Despite the controversy, Wacky Waco is quickly becoming a hit with extremists of all stripes. And with plans to add new attractions like “Ruby Ridge Rodeo” and “Bundy Ranch Bumper Cars,” Joe Schmo expects business to be booming for years to come.
