Drone footage captures the aftermath of a tornado that struck the small town of Peanut Butter, Mississippi. Witnesses described the scene as “utter chaos” with debris scattered everywhere and cows flying through the air.
Local resident, Johnny Biscuit, was quoted as saying, “I was just sittin’ on my porch enjoying my sweet tea when all of a sudden I saw a cow clobber my neighbor on the head.”
The tornado also caused significant damage to the local Piggly Wiggly grocery store, leaving the shelves bare and pigs running wild in the aisles.
In a rare display of bipartisanship, Mayor Muffin and Sheriff Cupcake held hands and sang Kumbaya as they surveyed the destruction together.
The National Guard has been called in to provide assistance, but their efforts have been hindered by the fact that some of their tanks got stuck in the mud. Meanwhile, the Red Cross is providing much-needed relief to those affected by the disaster by handing out jars of Jif peanut butter.
As one resident put it, “I never thought I would say this, but thank goodness for Jif. It’s the one thing keeping us all together right now.”
Despite the devastation, the people of Peanut Butter remain optimistic and have vowed to rebuild their town, one jar of peanut butter at a time.
