Designers on the hit ITV soap, “Coronationville,” are in a frenzy over a new addition to the set. Julie Cass’s crocheted blanket has caught their eye and they just can’t get enough of it.
Sources say that the blanket will be featured prominently in upcoming episodes, and some characters may even be seen cuddling up with it for warmth.
“It’s just so cozy and inviting,” said one designer. “We were blown away by the intricate work and attention to detail that went into this blanket. We just knew we had to have it on the set.”
The buzz around the blanket has even sparked a bidding war among cast members, with some reportedly vying for the chance to take it home with them.
“Everyone is just obsessed with this thing,” said one insider. “I overheard a couple of the actors arguing over who gets to use it for their scenes. It’s like the blanket has become a character in its own right!”
When reached for comment, Julie Cass herself seemed flattered but slightly confused by all the attention.
“I’m really happy that people appreciate my crocheting,” she said. “But I never imagined it would become such a big deal. I mean, it’s just a blanket.”
As for whether she plans to make any more items for the show, Cass remained tight-lipped.
“I’m not one to brag,” she said with a grin. “But let’s just say, stay tuned!”
