With the recent announcement that Labour plans to end tax perks for the rich if they win the election, experts are now speculating that the UK could lose a significant amount of money.

The “Bring Back Our Money” coalition, made up of wealthy businessmen and women, have already threatened to invest their money elsewhere if Labour follows through with their promise.

Famous billionaire and owner of Banana Corporation, Mr. Moneybags, warned that he will take his business to the Caribbean if Labour wins the election.

“I simply cannot afford to pay my fair share of taxes,” Mr. Moneybags said. “I need that extra money to buy my fourth yacht and a private island.”

Fellow billionaire and owner of the Gilded Palace, Ms. Diamond, was quick to add her voice to the conversation.

“If Labour implements this policy, I will have to find a new location for my jewelry collection. Maybe Switzerland,” she sneered.

Aside from the potential loss of some very wealthy investors, the general consensus is that the UK can handle the changes.

“Let’s be honest,” quipped finance analyst Bob Cheapskate. “If the rich were really going to leave, they would have done so already.”

Only time will tell if these threats from the super-rich will come to fruition. One thing is for sure – this election just got a whole lot more interesting.
