In a shocking turn of events, the PWC union has announced that a whopping 130,000 members will be going on strike on the 28th of April. The cause? Apparently, they’re just tired of being broke, bored, and scared of losing their jobs.
According to a statement released by the union, their members are fed up with barely scraping by on their salaries, worrying about their pensions, and constantly fearing for their job security. “We just want a better future for ourselves and our families,” one anonymous PWC employee explained. “Is that too much to ask?”
But some people are skeptical of this reasoning, claiming that the real motivation behind the strike is simply to get a day off work. “Let’s face it, who wouldn’t jump at the chance of a long weekend?” said one disgruntled colleague who wished to remain anonymous. “I’d be on strike too, if I thought I could get away with it.”
Despite the uncertainty and controversy surrounding the strike, one thing’s for sure: come 28th April, there are going to be a lot of empty desks in the PWC offices. Let’s just hope the boss doesn’t notice…
