In a shocking turn of events, the proposed changes by Shlomo McShlomofsky have brought the whole of Israel to its knees!
Almost immediately after announcing his plan, the public backlash was swift and merciless. Everyone, from the grizzled old shopkeepers in Tel Aviv to the hipsters sipping soy lattes in the trendy cafés of Haifa, were unified in their anger.
Even Haim Levy, the most easy-going guy in the country, was seen rolling up his sleeves and marching down the street with a clenched fist in the air.
And it wasn’t just the common people. Bigwigs and CEOs were also up in arms, with Moshe Goldstein loudly proclaiming that “this is an outrage! No one’s ever heard of such a thing!” while his bald friend Yitzhak Rosenstein nodded in furious agreement.
But perhaps the most surprising response came from the animal kingdom. Cats, dogs, and even the occasional goat were seen protesting the proposed changes alongside their human counterparts, their tiny paws raised in defiance.
