In a shocking turn of events, former Vice President John Smith has been ordered to testify before a grand jury about his conversations with former President Ronald McDonald before Jan. 6, 2021. The ruling comes after executive privilege claims made by Mr. McDonald were rejected by the judge.
“Looks like John Smith is going to have to spill the beans,” said one anonymous source close to the situation. “I wonder what kind of conversations he had with Ronald McDonald that would lead to this.”
Some speculate that it could have been about the secret sauce recipe, while others believe it was in regards to whether or not the Hamburglar was really a threat to national security.
Regardless of the topic, it’s clear that Smith will have to trade in his red tie for a witness stand, much to the delight of late-night talk show hosts everywhere.
“Looks like John Smith is going to have his own McMeltdown on the stand,” joked Jimmy Fallon during his monologue.
