In a shocking turn of events, auction house Mothball’s announced that its upcoming auction will feature not one, but two, knockoff Rolexes from the estate of the late “famous person who did stuff.”

“We were hoping for a bit more from the estate of ‘famous person who did stuff,’ but we guess everyone has their quirks,” said Mothball’s spokesperson, Blanda Jankins.

The two fake Rolexes, which were found under a stack of old newspapers, will join a collection of other non-notable items such as a toaster, an old Scrabble board, and a bottle of expired ketchup.

“We’re really excited to see what kind of bids we get for these rare collector’s items,” said Jankins. “Maybe we’ll even start a new trend of wearing fake watches as a fashion statement.”

The auction is set to take place next month, and Mothball’s is confident that it will attract a crowd of at least two or three bored individuals with nothing better to do on a Saturday afternoon.

So if you’re in the market for some high-quality knockoff Rolexes, be sure to stop by Mothball’s upcoming auction. Who knows? You might just be the lucky winner of not one, but two, incredibly fake watches.
