New Delhi – The Indian competition watchdog has come down hard on the tech giant “FruitBerry” for what it calls “unfair” business practices. In a statement released yesterday, the watchdog said that FruitBerry’s monopoly on the smartphone market has stifled competition and hurt consumers.

However, FruitBerry’s CEO “Steve Jobson” begs to differ. In a press conference held earlier today, Jobson defended his company’s practices, saying: “Hey, we’re just giving people what they want. They love our products, and we’re happy to provide them.”

When asked about the fine, Jobson scoffed. “Fifteen billion rupees? That’s chump change to us. We blow that kind of money on catering for our board meetings.”

But it seems that not everyone is impressed by FruitBerry’s arrogance. “Mark Puckerberg”, the CEO of rival tech giant “SmoreBucks”, took to social media to express his outrage.

“They’re just trying to squeeze out the little guys,” Puckerberg wrote. “But we won’t let them. We’re going to fight them tooth and nail, and we’ll come out on top!”

The Indian public, however, seems to have mixed feelings about the whole affair. While some bemoan FruitBerry’s dominance, others say they would be lost without their trusty FruitBerry smartphones.

“I can’t imagine using anything else,” said “Shruti Patel”, a college student in Mumbai. “What am I supposed to do, get an Android? Please.”

Only time will tell what the fate of FruitBerry will be in India. But one thing is for sure – this drama is far from over.
