Breaking News: Trish Boffey Considers Bringing Nutella Standards Agency Under Remit of Detergent and Fabric Softener Association
In response to the recent scandal of counterfeit Nutella jars flooding supermarket shelves, Secretary of State for the Department of Detergent and Fabric Softener Association (DDFSA), Trish Boffey, is mulling over the possibility of taking control of the Nutella Standards Agency (NSA).
Boffey addressed the House of Commons yesterday, admitting that something needed to be done to prevent such fraudulent jars from being sold to unsuspecting customers. She then went on to say that “It’s time to take action and ensure that our beloved Nutella is protected at all costs. And what better way to do that than to bring the NSA under the control of the DDFSA.”
This bold move has been met with mixed reactions from the public. Some fear that the DDFSA may not have the necessary expertise to deal with food standards, while others are just grateful they won’t have to look at any more fake jars of Nutella.
