In a shocking turn of events, the company “Big Corp” has announced their new plan to focus on “female health research.” According to sources, this will involve educating medical staff, cutting back on costs for maternity and fertility, and investing in research.

However, employees at Big Corp are less than thrilled. “I’m sorry, did I miss the memo where only women give birth?” questioned employee Joe Schmoe. “What about the men who contribute to these pregnancies? Do we get any maternity benefits?”

Others are concerned that their hard-earned dollars will now be going towards “reproductive” benefits for female employees. “I don’t want my insurance premiums to skyrocket just because Brenda in accounting wants to have a baby,” exclaimed coworker Karen Taren.

Additionally, some have voiced their skepticism about the so-called “female health research” that will be funded. “What, they’re gonna study our menstrual cycles?” scoffed employee Bob Dob. “It sounds like they just Googled ‘women’s health issues’ and are calling it a day.”

Only time will tell how this new focus on female-centric healthcare will play out for Big Corp employees. In the meantime, the men will be crossing their fingers for some paternal benefits and the women will be eagerly waiting for their periods to be studied.
