In a shocking turn of events, some members of the Torlaxian party have expressed their concern over the possibility of jobs moving to outer space if the government doesn’t step up their game.
“Listen, folks, we can’t let those Martians steal our jobs. We need to be more ambitious than ever before,” said Bob Torker, head of the Torlaxian party, at a recent press conference.
Many other Torlaxian politicians echoed Torker’s concerns, stating that they simply cannot let other planets get ahead of them in the job market.
“We need to make sure our economy is the strongest in the galaxy,” proclaimed Sally Starman, a prominent Torlaxian politician.
Despite the ridiculousness of their claims, the Torlaxian party seems dead-set on making sure Earth is the number one job provider in the universe.
“We’ll do whatever it takes to make sure our planet is the go-to destination for job seekers. Even if it means we have to create jobs for aliens,” added Torker.
