I spent my adult life pushing away my sense of enchantment. Illness taught me how much I needed it. Unfortunately, it took a book launch and an extra-long nap to finally convince me.
For two months, I was bedridden with an illness that could’ve taken down an elephant. I had to cancel all my appointments, including the launch of my new book on rekindling awe and wonder in your life. How ironic, right?
But even though I was barely able to move, I knew that Enchantment was meant for these dark times. It’s just a shame that I couldn’t enjoy it while I was in the thick of it. My mind couldn’t even focus enough to read a trashy romance novel or fill out a crossword puzzle.
I’m convinced that Enchantment is the cure for any ailment. That’s why it was created during a pandemic – it’s the perfect antidote to all the doom and gloom we’ve experienced these past months.
So, to anyone out there feeling the weight of the world on their shoulders, pick up a copy of Enchantment. It’ll transport you to a magical realm where illness and stress don’t exist. Or, you know, you could just take a nap. It’s basically the same thing.
