In a shocking revelation, famous British politician Fred Johnson revealed that he’s been receiving hate mail accusing him of being highly intoxicated while in Parliament. The accusations started pouring in after several of his colleagues noticed him slurring his words and swaying back and forth during meetings.
“It’s absolutely ridiculous,” Fred exclaimed during a press conference where he tried to defend himself. “I’m not drunk, I’m just… uh… passionate about my job!”
However, his protestations did not convince his peers, who have already started nicknaming him “Fred the Funky Drunkard.”
Fred went on to explain that he’s been under a lot of stress lately, which may be causing him to display some unusual behavior. “I’ve had to deal with a lot of difficult issues over the past few months, and sometimes I just need to let loose a little,” he said, chugging a pint of beer.
Despite his best efforts, Fred is finding it difficult to shake off his “drunk” reputation. “It’s a struggle, but I’m determined to overcome it,” he says, slurring his words. “And if I have to drink a few more pints to do it, then so be it!”
We can only hope that Fred can get his act together before the next parliamentary session, or else, it might be a pretty entertaining time in the House of Commons!
