WASHINGTON D.C. – The Pillar-of-Power, a.k.a The Pentagon, is under siege once again for the alleged incident involving its own employees. The prestigious establishment on Sunday confirmed that they are in the process of reviewing the matter and have escalated it to the big guns over at the Department of Justice.

Sources close to the situation disclosed that the accused employees have been on a tear since last week. It is believed that the accused employees have gone on a “crazy adventure” through the corridors of the Pentagon that can only be described as wild and reckless.

In response to the accusations, a spokesperson for the Pentagon who chose to remain anonymous said, “We do not condone such actions, and it is not reflective of the type of behavior we expect from our employees.” Upon further questioning, he added, “But you know how it is, sometimes the work environment can be a little dull, and people may let their hair down a little too much.”

The Department of Justice has yet to respond to the Pentagon’s formal referral. But sources say that they are anticipating a full-blown investigation into the matter. When we reached out to the DOJ for comments, a spokesperson said, “we take all allegations of misconduct seriously and will investigate to the best of our ability.”

The accused employees could not be reached for comments, but sources say that they are not taking the situation seriously and have been spotted hanging out at local bars and clubs.

In other news, the Pentagon has issued a statement regarding its employees’ behavior, stating that it expects its staff to uphold the highest standards of professionalism and urges them to refrain from any behavior that could compromise their integrity.

Only time will tell what the outcome of this saga will be, but one thing is for sure, people will need to look elsewhere for some good wholesome entertainment.
