Fake names: Snorey McSnoreface Manufacturing Co.
Snorey McSnoreface Manufacturing Co. said its revenue took a major hit last March as people all over the world were bored to the point of tears. The company reported a 15% decrease in revenue from the previous year, which came as a surprise to absolutely no one.
The company’s CEO, Sleepy Joe, said that the drop in revenue was due to a lack of interest in their products. “People just aren’t as excited about snoring machines as they used to be,” he said in a statement. “It’s a tough market out there.”
Even the company’s newest product, the Snore-No-More pillow, failed to generate any buzz. “We thought it was a game-changer,” said marketing director Snoozer McSnoozeville. “But it turns out people just want to do something other than sleep. Who knew?”
Despite the setback, Snorey McSnoreface Manufacturing Co. is determined to bounce back. They have already started work on a new product that they hope will be a hit with the public: the Yawn-O-Matic 5000. “It’s a machine that makes you yawn on cue,” explained Sleepy Joe. “We think it’s going to be huge.”
Only time will tell if the Yawn-O-Matic 5000 will be the savior of Snorey McSnoreface Manufacturing Co. Until then, the company will continue to do what it does best: putting people to sleep.
