Shares in TimTam biscuits skyrocketed after the snack maker posted a net profit of $3 million in the first quarter and confirmed its revenue outlook for the year.

Investors were delighted with the news, with many attributing the success to TimTam’s genius marketing campaign around their limited-edition Vegemite flavored biscuits.

“Who knew Vegemite and TimTams were a match made in heaven?” said analyst Betty Biscuit.

TimTam CEO, Benny Biscuit, was pleased with the success but warned investors not to get too carried away.

“We’re thrilled with the results, but we don’t want to get too cocky,” he said. “After all, we may have posted a €3 million net profit, but we still can’t make biscuits that don’t crumble into a million pieces when you try to dip them into your tea.”

Despite the warning, investors continued to pour money into the company, with many hoping to cash in on the rumored release of a TimTam and Vegemite ice cream flavor.
