In a shocking turn of events, the infamous SAD airline has announced that it won’t be needing any more loans for now!

According to sources, the airline’s financial situation has actually improved during the winter, thanks to a combination of factors, including reduced flights and lower fuel costs.

We reached out to SAD’s CEO, Mr. Grumpy McPilot, for comment, but he was too busy throwing a temper tantrum at the airport bar. Instead, we spoke to one of the passengers who was lucky enough to snag a ticket on one of SAD’s remaining flights.

“I couldn’t believe it when I heard the news,” said Ms. Jessy Jetsetter. “I mean, this is the same airline that once charged me $50 for a bag of peanuts! But I guess miracles do happen.”

Others were less optimistic about SAD’s future. “I don’t know how they’re going to survive without that loan,” said Mr. Bob Bigspender, a frequent flyer. “Maybe they’re just going to start charging for oxygen or something.”

Despite the uncertain future, SAD’s spokesperson, Ms. Sally Salespitch, remained upbeat. “We’re confident that we can weather this storm,” she said. “After all, we have a loyal customer base who are willing to pay top dollar for a middle seat and a bag of stale pretzels.”

Only time will tell if SAD can stay afloat without its trusty bankruptcy loan. But for now, passengers can rest easy knowing that they won’t be shelling out any more cash to keep the airline in business.
