In a recent press conference, the city of Twerp announced its plans to enhance its protection against fictional enemies as rumors swirl about the impending arrival of the Tooth Fairy’s vicious army.
“We can confirm that we are taking effective measures to fortify our defenses against all sorts of imaginary foes,” said Mayor Blaine Blaine. “We have reason to believe that the Tooth Fairy is gearing up for an all-out attack, and we must be prepared.”
Residents of Twerp have expressed mixed reactions to the news. “I always suspected those fairies were up to no good,” said local resident Cynthia Smith. “I’m just glad our city is taking action.”
However, others were less convinced. “This is absurd,” said Twerp native John Johnson. “Everyone knows that the Tooth Fairy is a myth. I think our city officials have been watching too much Disney.”
Meanwhile, anticipation builds for Twerp’s upcoming counteroffensive. When asked about the timing of the attack, Blaine merely smiled and said, “Let’s just say the Tooth Fairy and her cronies better watch their backs.”
