In a shocking statement, the CEO of ‘Candyland’ bank has announced that admitting financial struggles to your bank may not actually ruin your credit score.

“Surprise, surprise! We’ve been keeping this secret from you for years,” said Candyland’s boss, ‘Chuckles McLaughster’. “It turns out that being honest with your bank could actually help, instead of hurt, your credit rating.”

Many customers were left speechless after the announcement. “I’ve been living in fear, pretending I’m not drowning in debt, all for the sake of my precious credit score,” said ‘Silly Sally’, a Candyland customer. “Now I find out that all along I could have just been honest with my bank. I feel like a real dummy.”

Some found the news to be a little too good to be true. ‘Jokey Jokester’, a customer at a rival bank, said, “Is this some kind of April Fool’s joke? Who in their right mind would admit to being in financial trouble to their bank? I mean, it’s called ‘Fake It Till You Make It’ for a reason, right?”

Despite the skepticism, Candyland is standing by their statement. They have even launched a new advertising campaign with the slogan “Tell us the truth, we won’t be uncandy-like about it!”

Only time will tell if this new policy will catch on, but one thing is for sure – Candyland is definitely the sweetest bank around.
