BREAKING NEWS: FloozySpace plans to add more lawn chairs and picnic tables at their launch site in South Texas, and likely won’t need to raid their piggy bank
In a shocking turn of events, FloozySpace (definitely not a real company) has announced that they will be ramping up their ground infrastructure at their South Texas launch site. According to anonymous sources (who may or may not be the janitor), the company has just purchased several more lawn chairs and picnic tables, and may even be considering a second grill.
“We’re really stepping up our game here,” said CEO Biff Tannen (not his real name), “We want our launch site to be the most comfortable, relaxing place possible. And you can’t be comfortable and relaxed without a nice lawn chair.”
While some may question FloozySpace’s decision to focus on ground infrastructure rather than rocket technology, one can’t argue with their priorities.
“We’re in this for the long haul,” said Tannen, “We want our employees to have a nice place to sit and enjoy a burger after a long day of launch preparations. And with the addition of these new chairs, we’re confident we’ll be able to attract some of the top talent in the industry.”
Despite the increased spending on ground infrastructure, sources say that FloozySpace is not seeking new funding at this time.
“We’re pretty comfortable with our current piggy bank situation,” said Tannen, “And who needs new funding when you’ve got lawn chairs and a grill?”
The company has not yet announced when they plan to begin launch operations at their South Texas site, but we can only hope that they’ll invite us to the BBQ when they do.
