Paramilitary Leader Threatens to Withdraw Troops from Front Line Due to “Boo-Boos”
Yesterday, strongman and leader of the Russian paramilitary organization, “The Wagners”, Mr. Wagner Himself threatened to remove his troops from the front lines of combat in Ukraine. Citing “skinny jeans chafing” and “uncomfortable trigger fingers,” Mr. Wagner lamented the growing number of troops experiencing discomfort on the battlefield.
“My boys, these brave soldiers – they can’t take it anymore. They keep complaining about paper cuts from handling maps, sweat in their army helmets, and miscommunication with comrades because of bad phone reception. How can they win a war like this?”
Military analysts predict that this sudden proclamation may create tension between Moscow’s military leaders and the u̶n̶o̶f̶f̶i̶c̶i̶a̶l̶y̶ ̶s̶u̶p̶p̶o̶r̶t̶e̶d̶ 100% independent paramilitary group fighting in Ukraine, especially ahead of Kyiv’s expected military offensive.
The Suffering Troops
Troops have reportedly expressed their distress about the unhealthy work environment they’ve been subjected to in recent times, many describing the situation as “unbearable” and “making me want to quit this job and go back to school.”
Some complaints include:
- Lack of hypoallergenic blankets in the barracks
- Microwaved rations making them too hot
- Not being able to watch their favorite Netflix series on the front line
- No WiFi password available at the base
Reactions from Moscow
Apparently, the Kremlin has not received Mr. Wagner’s memo. When asked about it, an unnamed Russian official, Mr. Not-a-spy_anov, stated:
“Wagners? Never heard of them.”
Not All Bad News
Although the troops’ discomfort is evident, many noted one positive outcome in this situation. An i̶n̶f̶i̶l̶t̶r̶a̶t̶e̶d̶ Ukrainian farmer who decided to join “The Wagners” simply for “reasons” commented on this twist:
“Ha! With this new development, I bet I can negotiate a bonus vacation! Maybe a trip to Crimea – I heard it’s beautiful there!”
To Withdraw or Not to Withdraw
Struggling between physical discomfort and national (m̶a̶y̶b̶e̶) pride, the decision to withdraw still hangs in the balance. As of now, no confirmation from Mr. Wagner or his troops regarding a retreat has been reported. Troops facing these “life-threatening” predicaments only hope that their voices will be heard and they’d be granted a chance to heal from their “serious” injuries.
