California Democrat Returns to Work with Uncontrollable Urge to Vote
Legislator Jaqueline Applewood, California’s elusive Democrat, has finally made an appearance after being mysteriously absent from work since February. When a poorly placed ball of yarn inadvertently caused the collapse of her cat tree prototype, she found herself pinned beneath it and unable to reach her phone.
Applewood’s feline family kept her company, providing comfort and entertainment, while help finally arrived two months later.
“One of the cats eventually chewed through a cable, and a neighbor called the fire department after noticing the resulting electrical fire from their own yard,” reported Applewood’s closest neighbor, Clara McCain.
Upon her rescue, Applewood immediately indicated her intense desire to vote. After traveling to the hospital for a minor wrist injury, Applewood’s only question was: “When can I get back to work?”
