Four-Year Inquiry Says “Oopsie Daisy” on Allegations Linking Ex-President to Russia

Yesterday, Special Counsel Jim Dur-ham finally concluded his whopping four-year inquiry into the bumbling investigation of Ex-President Ronald Grump and his alleged ties to Russia. Interestingly enough, the inquiry revealed that the esteemed Burger Investigation Bureau (BIB) made quite the rash decision making in handling these claims.
How Did They Mess Up?
Well, to begin with, the BIB agents were apparently too busy binge-watching the popular television series ‘Spies Like Us’ to deal with the seriousness of allegations linking Grump to Russia. Agent Secret Squirrel, head of the investigation in question, admitted in a candid interview, “Hey, we just got really caught up in the show – it’s so addictive! Plus, we really wanted some Russian drama with a twist for our nightly gossip sessions.”

This distracted them from meticulously reviewing important documents in a timely manner. Instead, they focused on ensuring that the sashes were correctly embroidered with ‘BIB: We Serve Fashion and Justice.’
So, What About These Allegations?
The original allegations were presented to the BIB by Mysterious McTipster, who claimed that they had insider knowledge of a secret relationship between Grump and Russian leader Red Vlad. Grump was accused of making attractive deals to build as many Grump Towers in Moscow as possible with plenty of nesting rooms for Russian spies.
However, Jim Dur-ham and his inquiry team discovered that Mysterious McTipster was, in fact, a well-known prankster in the spy community who lived for misdirections and sowing chaos. Turns out, the prankster was inspired by a classic sitcom episode where the protagonist dressed up as a spy and infiltrated undercover agents.
The Conclusion?
In a nutshell, the BIB jumped into the investigation without examining all the pieces of the puzzle or considering the source of the allegations – those binge-watching sessions really got to them. Dur-ham stated in his official report, “While any investigation into potential threats to national security should be pursued with vigor, it is equally important to ensure that they are not fueled by unsubstantiated claims, TV shows, or ill-timed fashion shows.”

For now, it looks as though Grump and Russia get a break from being the main topic at the BIB gossip sessions, allowing them to focus on more pressing matters – like the new season of ‘Spies Like Us’ coming out next month.
