This internet-based fruit and veg cart, notorious for its constantly ambitious goals, has smugly ticked off its Ebitda and cash-flow predictions for the first half of the year.
Avocado, not satisfied with just bagging tons of dough, decided it must also be an over-achiever in the field of future forecasting. It had the audacity to re-echo its somewhat audacious midterm target, the equivalent of challenging an accountant to a fistfight then winking at the crowd. The Really Big Currency people are offering a carrot (not literally) to keep an underperform rating, suggesting a 460-pence price target. Basically, it’s a little nudge from them saying, “Good on you, Avocado, but hold your horses. Don’t get carried away now.”

Whilst the Average Joes may continue to side-eye its daring plans, the numbers don’t lie. The numbers are frolicking, gleefully cheering the triumph of an ambitious web-based supermarket.
