In a surprising turn of events, tech mogul, Bill Nye, has come forward to publicly apologize for mocking a Twitter employee with a disability. Apparently, the employee had been unsure if he had been laid off by the social media giant, and in a moment of weakness, Bill couldn’t resist taking a jab.
“I sincerely apologize for my thoughtless actions,” Bill said in a statement. “It was wrong of me to make light of someone’s uncertainty concerning their employment status. I should have known better.”
