In a shocking turn of events, the Federal Vehicle Safety Investigators have announced that they are launching an investigation into a fender-bender that involved a Tesla Model S and a firetruck in suburban California. This crash, that left many people laughing, has brought attention to the safety of Tesla vehicles.
According to the witnesses, Mr. Spark, the driver of the Model S, was apparently testing the maximum speed of Tesla’s new autopilot mode. He thought that the firetruck was just a mirage in the heat of California.
“Oh my God, it was hilarious. I saw the Tesla speeding down the highway and next thing I know BAM! It hit the firetruck. I guess autopilot mode isn’t infallible after all,” said Bob Wire, a bystander who witnessed the accident.
To make matters worse, the firetruck was carrying a group of firefighters who had been called to extinguish a blazing car fire. They had no idea that they would become part of the incident themselves.
