Hilarious Affairs Committee Fast-Tracks Confusing Legislation, Parties All Night

The Hilarious Affairs Committee advanced the fast-tracked legislation with a partying-all-night-vote in a bid to confuse everyone.

According to sources, the committee’s chair, Mr. Goofy, led the charge, equipping every member with a whistle and a light-up bowtie to make the occasion extra special.

But things quickly got out of hand when Mr. Silly suddenly shouted “Red rover, red rover, send the bill right over!” and the whole room erupted into a game of red rover.

It wasn’t until Ms. Chuckles accidentally got elbowed in the face that they remembered why they were there.

After regaining focus, the members voted unanimously to insert the word “banana” into every other sentence of the bill, just for laughs.

“It’s a ridiculous bill anyways,” said Ms. Giggles, “so we might as well have some fun with it!”

The meeting ended with the entire committee breaking out into a rendition of “The Chicken Dance,” promising to take themselves more seriously next time.

The bill will now head to the full House, where it is expected to be met with confusion and amusement.
