Meta, formerly known as Facebook, has finally decided to bring back the beloved Messenger app to the Facebook mobile app. And boy, are we thrilled! After all, who doesn’t miss receiving random messages from people you barely know?
The decision to bring back Messenger after almost nine years comes after extensive research conducted by the team at Meta. According to them, Messenger was the one feature that people missed the most after it was taken away from the Facebook app. In fact, some users reported feeling lost without it, stating that they felt like they had lost a limb.
To celebrate the return of Messenger, Meta is planning to throw a massive party where everyone is required to wear Messenger hats and sing karaoke to the tune of “We Will Rock You” by Queen. It’s going to be a wild time.
However, not everyone is excited about the news. Our sources tell us that fellow social media giant Twitter is feeling left out and is now considering bringing back its own version of Messenger. The feud between Meta and Twitter is bound to get messy, but we’re here for the drama.
In the meantime, let’s all rejoice as we can once again bombard our friends with endless messages about our day-to-day lives. Who needs privacy anyway? Thank you, Meta. You’ve truly made our day.
