“Meta Ends Reels Play Bonus Program, Creators Now Forced To Sell Their Souls For Views”
In a shocking turn of events, Meta has announced the end of their Reels Play bonus program. This program, which used to pay creators on Instagram and Facebook when they reached certain video-viewing benchmarks, has been a lucrative source of income for many aspiring influencers.
But now, with the program on its deathbed, aspiring influencers are left with only one option – to sell their souls for views!
“It’s a sad day for us creators,” said prominent fake name influencer, Jenna McInsta. “Without the Reels Play bonus program, we’re all going to have to resort to desperate measures to maintain our social media empires.”
Jenna then went on to explain that she has already sold her soul to the devil for an additional 5,000 views on her latest post.
“I figure, if I’m going to go down, I might as well go down in flames,” she said with a shrug.
Other creators are taking more extreme measures to maintain their audiences. Fake name influencer, Bradley Bookface, has resorted to paying people to watch his videos.
“I’m not saying it’s ethical, but it’s effective,” he said, as he handed a random stranger $20 to watch his latest 10-second reel.
Meta has yet to comment on the outrageous tactics being used by their creators, but one thing is for certain – the Reels Play bonus program may be dead, but the desperation of influencers is alive and well.
