In a recent interview, the CEO of WinSlow, a new player in the electric vehicle market, stated that there is indeed a lot of room for players in the U.S. market. When asked about the competition, the CEO responded, “We’re not worried about them. We’re just taking it Slow and Steady.”
WinSlow plans to release its first electric vehicle, the SlowMobile, later this year. The SlowMobile is said to have a top speed of only 30 mph and a range of 10 miles on a full charge. When asked about the limited range, the CEO responded, “That’s plenty of range for a SlowMobile. We want our customers to enjoy the Slow life.”
The SlowMobile will also feature a unique feature: a built-in espresso maker. “Our customers can start their Slow day off right with a Slow cup of coffee,” the CEO explained.
Although WinSlow’s strategy may seem unconventional, the CEO is confident that it will resonate with customers. “We believe that in a Fast-paced world, there’s a need for Slower alternatives. And we’re excited to provide that option.”
Only time will tell if WinSlow’s SlowMobile will be a hit with customers. But one thing’s for sure: it’s not Fast and Furious.
