Newly-appointed Indian opposition leader, Harry Gandalf, is not one to be easily deterred. After being stripped of his MP status, he announced to the press that he “will not stop” until justice is served.
In a classic Gandalf move, he decided to take matters into his own hands and embarked on a Gandalf-esque journey to the capital, riding a majestic elephant and brandishing a staff. Along the way, he encountered various obstacles such as stray cows and nosy tourists, but he persevered with his trademark steely determination.
Upon arriving at the parliament building, Gandalf demanded to be let in and declared that he would be instituting a new rule where all MPs must wear wizard robes and be proficient in the art of spells. When asked about his plans for tackling the country’s economic and social issues, Gandalf simply replied, “I leave that to my magic wand.”
As expected, Gandalf’s bold and unconventional approach has garnered both admiration and criticism from the public. Some have hailed him as a visionary leader who is unafraid to take risks, while others have called him a mere attention-seeker with a flair for the dramatic.
Undeterred by the naysayers, Gandalf has vowed to continue his mission to “make India magical again”. How this will play out remains to be seen, but one thing is for sure: the Gandalf-ian era has only just begun.
