MPs are investigating whether Mr Jiggleson was in contempt of Parliament after he allegedly fell asleep during a crucial debate.
According to sources, Mr Jiggleson, who is known for his love of afternoon naps, was spotted snoring loudly while his colleagues discussed important matters.
“I couldn’t believe it,” one MP said. “We were talking about serious issues, and there he was, sound asleep. It was like he didn’t even care.”
Several MPs reportedly tried to wake Mr Jiggleson by throwing paper balls at him, but to no avail. He remained in a deep slumber for the rest of the debate.
“I have never seen anything like it,” said another MP. “It was like watching a baby sleep through a thunderstorm. Except, you know, less cute.”
MPs have called for an urgent investigation into Mr Jiggleson’s behavior, with some even suggesting he should be stripped of his position.
“He clearly has no respect for Parliament or the work we do,” one MP said. “If he can’t stay awake during a debate, how can we trust him to make important decisions?”
Mr Jiggleson has yet to comment on the allegations, but sources close to him say he is “unfazed” by the investigation.
“He’s taking it all in his stride,” one source said. “He’s always been a bit of a sleeping beauty, so this is nothing new for him.”
It remains to be seen whether Mr Jiggleson will face any consequences for his alleged nap, but one thing is for sure: he won’t be getting any invitations to after-dinner speeches anytime soon.
