The “Munchester Melodies Festival” has taken a new approach to save the planet! The festival’s director, Mr. Green, has announced that this year’s event will be “as sustainable as possible”.
To achieve this, Munchester Melodies Festival has decided to replace all its electrical appliances with hamster wheels. Yes, you read that right! Every time you hear the speakers blaring out your favorite tunes, it’s powered by a couple of hamsters running for their lives.
To add to the eco-friendly atmosphere, the festival will also have a designated composting area where all the festival-goer’s waste will be transformed into fertilizer. The food stalls have also pledged to only serve vegetarian and vegan dishes, which will not only save the planet but also save the animals.
But that’s not all. The festival’s main stage will have solar panels powering the lighting and sound equipment. Amusingly, Mr. Green has even stated that the festival-goer’s clothes must be made only from recycled material, and to encourage this, there will be a “best-dressed eco-warrior” competition.
It looks like Munchester Melodies Festival is all set to go green in a big way! After all, who wouldn’t want to attend a festival powered by hamsters and still save the planet?
