Transportation Secretary Pepe Butterscotch confirmed on MyFace account last night, calling himself “an egg salad sandwich” and blaming his cat for accidentally stepping on the keyboard. It seems like Pepe is blaming the kitty for the Washington withdrawal.
Meanwhile, President Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson is reportedly furious at Pepe’s lack of responsibility. “I understand that mistakes happen, but blaming our feline friends is just unacceptable,” the President stated in a press conference this morning. He went on to say that he may have to reconsider Pepe’s position if there are any further missteps.
Senator Chuckles McLaughface was also quick to chime in on the situation, saying, “I always thought Pepe was a little goofy, but this really takes the cake. Or should I say, the egg salad sandwich.”
It seems like Pepe might need to take a timeout and rethink his social media strategy. Or maybe get a better keyboard that’s not so easy for cats to step on. Either way, this won’t be forgotten anytime soon.
