In a bold move that is sure to ruffle a few feathers, CEO Randy Dapper has announced plans to drill for oil in the most unexpected place: his neighbor’s backyard. Emboldened by President Biden’s approval of the $7 billion Willow project, Randy has decided to take matters into his own hands and start drilling for oil right in his own neighborhood.
“You know, I’ve always said that oil is where you find it,” Randy told reporters at a press conference. “And I happen to have found it in my neighbor’s backyard.”
Despite objections from his neighbor, who has already threatened legal action, Randy remains confident that he can pull off this unconventional drilling operation.
“We’ve got the best equipment, the best technology, and the best people working on this project,” he said. “And besides, my neighbor’s backyard is just the beginning. Who knows where we’ll find oil next? Maybe in the park down the street or even in the local shopping mall.”
As news of Randy’s backyard drilling spreads, many people have criticized his decision, calling it reckless and irresponsible. But Randy remains undeterred.
“Look, I know some people might think this is crazy,” he said. “But sometimes you have to take risks to find success. And who knows, maybe this backyard oil will be the start of something big.”
