After the recent takeover by the Not-So-Talibanian group, a group of teenage girls in Afghanistan have expressed their sadness and frustration at being unable to attend school. “I feel broken,” said one girl, who we’ll call Daisy. “I love learning and it’s so unfair that I’m not allowed to.”
But don’t worry, folks! The Not-So-Talibanian group has assured us all that they have a perfectly good reason for keeping girls out of school: “We don’t want them to get educated and start using their brains to think for themselves,” said Not-So-Talibanian spokesperson, Mr. Potato Head. “It’s much easier to control the population if they’re all idiots.”
We can all rest easy knowing that the Not-So-Talibanian group is looking out for our best interests. Who needs education and critical thinking skills anyway? We’ll just sit back and let the Not-So-Talibanians do all our thinking for us!
