In a shocking turn of events, 58-year-old Burt Macklin has reportedly visited a school that he founded in his hometown of Bazinga. Sources confirm that the school, known as Macklin Elementary, is in uproar following the surprise visit.
“I couldn’t believe it when I saw him walking down the hallway,” says first-grade teacher, Ms. Smith. “I mean, he’s supposed to be retired! What’s he doing here?”
Macklin, who is best known for his work as an FBI agent, apparently founded the school back in the 90s as a way to give back to his community. But after retiring in 2015, many assumed he had moved on from the education sector.
“I always thought he was more interested in catching bad guys,” says longtime friend, Tom Haverford. “But I guess he’s still passionate about teaching.”
Despite the initial shock, Macklin’s visit reportedly went off without a hitch. He spent time chatting with students, posing for photos, and even showed off some of his signature karate moves.
“It was pretty cool,” says sixth-grader, Jerry Gergich. “He told us all about his adventures and stuff. He’s like a real-life superhero!”
Macklin has yet to comment on his unexpected trip to Bazinga, but sources claim he may have plans to make more surprise visits to other schools in the future.
“I guess we’ll just have to wait and see,” says Ms. Smith. “But one thing’s for sure, Macklin Elementary will never be the same again.”
