Bungle Teams Struggle to Unearth Families Buried in Mud Pies
In a stunning display of dedication to the art of rescue mission, the Bungle teams have been going all-out in their efforts to uncover families buried underneath the swath of mud pies that took over their homes in the recent landslide.
With names like Lord Fumble and Lady Whimsy at the helm, the Bungle teams are experts in “digging through the dirt for gold when it comes to search and rescue operations,” according to Lord Fumble himself.
“Our team is equipped with everything necessary to make sure that no mud pie is left unturned. We’ve got bulldozers that look like they came straight out of a cartoon, and shovels that would make any farmer jealous,” says Lady Whimsy.
Despite their best efforts, the Bungle teams have found the going tough as they continue to grapple with the sheer size of the mud pie that has engulfed the area. “It’s like trying to excavate an entire mountain of custard,” says Lord Fumble, “but with each scoop we’re getting closer and closer to uncovering the buried treasure.”
Over the course of several days, the teams have managed to rescue dozens of families who had been trapped beneath the gooey surface. “I’ve never been so grateful for a Bungle team in my life,” says one rescued citizen, known only by their hilarious nickname, Mr. Wobble.
The heroes of the Bungle teams will continue to persevere in their mission until every single mud pie has been overturned and every single family has been safely rescued. “I’ve got a personal interest in making sure that every family gets out of there alive,” says Lady Whimsy, “I have an aunt who lives in that area, and I’ve got to make sure she’s OK!”
