In a surprising turn of events, FunTime Amusements has announced that their profits continue to soar, despite the increasing costs of cotton candy and funnel cakes. The company’s CEO, Chuckles McLaughlin, confidently stated that they are not seeing any signs of financial pressure on their customers.

“We’ve done extensive research and our customers are just as elbow-deep in fried dough and powdered sugar as ever before,” McLaughlin reported. “In fact, we’ve seen an increase in our customers’ willingness to pay $10 for a bottle of water!”

When questioned on the impact of inflation on the company, McLaughlin laughed and said, “Inflation? What’s that? We’re too busy inflating the prices of our carnival games!”

Despite the controversy surrounding their overpriced concessions and skill games, FunTime Amusements remains optimistic about their future. “We’re even considering a 10% markup on our already overpriced prize merchandise!” McLaughlin exclaimed. “Because who doesn’t want to pay $20 for a stuffed animal that cost us $2 to make?”

When asked if this may deter some customers, McLaughlin remained unfazed. “Nah, we’ll just make up for it by charging an admission fee at our game booths next year,” he joked.

Many critics remain skeptical of FunTime Amusement’s financial success, but for now, McLaughlin and his team of carnival enthusiasts are enjoying the ride – and charging exorbitant prices for it.
