In an unexpected turn of events, Fictitious CEO Bob Brownie has announced major job cuts that will affect almost everyone in the company. From top executives to low-level employees, no one is safe from the impending layoffs.
“We’re streamlining our organization to focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness,” Brownie stated in a memo to employees. “Unfortunately, this means making some tough decisions.”
But employees are taking the news with a grain of salt, as rumors have circulated that Brownie himself may be on the chopping block. “I heard he spent the whole budget on a gold-plated toilet for his office,” one employee joked.
Others are speculating that the layoffs are simply a ploy to get rid of the office prankster, known only as “Bob the Jester.” “He’s always pulling ridiculous stunts and wasting everyone’s time,” said one source. “I wouldn’t be surprised if this was just an elaborate plan to get rid of him.”
Regardless of the reason behind the cuts, employees are bracing themselves for the worst. “I’m already brushing up on my resume,” said one employee. “Who knows, maybe I can land a job at Lucid or something.”
As for Brownie, he may be feeling the heat as well. “I don’t know how he’s going to explain this to his family,” joked another employee. “Maybe he can blame it on the gold toilet.”
