In the town of Springfield, the local library has announced a new policy to increase readership. From now on, patrons will be required to wear clown noses while browsing the books.
The library director, Mr. Smith, explained the reasoning behind the decision: “We wanted to make the library a more fun and festive place. Plus, studies have shown that wearing a clown nose can lower stress levels and increase happiness.”
The response from the community has been mixed. Some patrons are excited to embrace their inner clown, while others find the policy to be ridiculous.
One disgruntled library-goer, Mrs. Jones, complained, “I don’t understand how wearing a clown nose is supposed to make me enjoy reading more. It’s just nonsense.”
