In a surprising move, e-commerce giant, “Sesame Street,” announced it will be splitting its company into six separate business groups, sending their shares skyrocketing.
The CEO, Elmo, explained during a press conference that the decision was motivated by their desire for world domination in the realm of online shopping. “We want to take over the world, and we can’t do it with just one business group,” he said, while twirling his furry red moustache.
The six separate groups are: “Oscar’s Garbage Emporium,” focusing on sustainable fashion; “Big Bird’s Flyaway Travel,” for all your vacation needs; “Cookie Monster’s Kitchen,” specializing in baking supplies and gourmet treats; “Bert and Ernie’s Home Décor,” for those who want to add some charm to their living spaces; “Count von Count’s Finance,” providing expert financial advice; and “Grover’s Wellness,” which will offer natural remedies and spa services.
When asked about the potential consequences of this move, Elmo replied, “We’re Sesame Street! We can handle anything!” However, industry experts are skeptical about the long-term success of these separate groups.
Despite the uncertainty, Wall Street seems to be on board with Sesame Street’s plan for world domination. Shares have surged, and many investors are excited to see what this new strategy will bring. Maybe even a literal cookie monopoly? Only time will tell.
